What it is

ResidentScore® is a proprietary credit score built specifically for the rental market. Unlike standard FICO scores, it is optimized to predict the likelihood of eviction — the key risk for landlords.

Score Range

350–850. Higher scores indicate lower risk. The score is displayed alongside a risk tier (Low / Medium / High) and a plain-language explanation.

Why it matters

What's searched

National criminal database, all 50 state criminal registries, sex offender registry, OFAC global sanctions list, and Interpol notices.

Match methodology

Records are matched using full name, date of birth, address history, and known aliases — not just name-matching.

FCRA compliance

Records that may not be used under state or local law (e.g., ban-the-box jurisdictions, lookback period restrictions) are flagged or excluded accordingly. A compliance note is always included.

What it does NOT show

Income Insights does not reveal the applicant's exact income or employment details. It provides a simple recommendation: 'Income appears sufficient' or 'Request additional income verification.'
